Adding new users to XSite allows for greater flexibility in task distribution. Adding a New User in XSiteIO
- Navigate to ‘Settings’ in the bottom left corner and select ‘Users’.
- Within the ‘Users’ section, you’ll find the option to add a new user. Here, you are required to enter several pieces of crucial information for the new user:
- User ID: Assign a unique identifier for the new user.
- Name: Input the name that will be used for logging into the system. It is recommended to keep this login name simple, lowercase, and as a single word for ease of use.
- Password: Set a secure password for the new user account.

Site Assignment: Specify the site to which the user will be assigned, allowing for tailored access and responsibilities.
- After entering all necessary details for the new user, click the green ‘Add’ button to officially add the new user to the XSite system.
- To manage the level of access granted to the newly created user, click on the User ID you have just created. At the bottom of the page, you will find a toggle labeled ‘User Type’.
- Adjust the ‘User Type’ toggle to ‘Limited’ to restrict the user’s access. With limited access, the user is only permitted to change item information for the site they are assigned.
