This article shows you how to add a customer in XSite by entering contact and address details in the Customers section so you can ensure customer information is recorded and accessible for accurate sales, accounts, and customer management.
Before you begin
You must have access to the Customers section in XSite.
Steps
Add a customer in XSiteIO
- Go to Price Book → Accounts → Customers.
- Click [+] at the top of the page.
- Enter the customer’s Name.
- Enter the Primary Contact (phone number or email).
- Enter the Address.
- Enter the City.
- Select the Country from the dropdown.
- Select the Province/State from the dropdown.
- Enter the Postal/ZIP Code.
- Review the auto-generated Customer ID.
- Click [Add Customer] to save.
Add a customer in XSite Classic
- Go to Accounts → Customers.
- Enter the customer’s Name.
- Enter the Primary Contact (phone number or email).
- Enter the Address.
- Enter the City.
- Select the Country from the dropdown.
- Select the Province/State from the dropdown.
- Enter the Postal/ZIP Code.
- Review the auto-generated Customer ID.
- Click [Add] to save.
Tips & Warnings
- A Customer ID is created automatically and cannot be changed later.
- Make sure the address and postal code are correct to avoid account or reporting issues.
- You can add or edit more details later by clicking the customer’s ID number.
- If a customer does not appear in the list, refresh the page and search by name.
