Introduction

XSite offers robust features for inventory and department management, enabling efficient oversight of stock levels and department categorization. Proper configuration is essential to ensure that all departments are accurately tracking within the system. This guide provides a step-by-step process to troubleshoot and resolve issues where departments might not be accurately tracking.

Fixing Track Departments Errors in XSiteIO

  1. Start by navigating to the ‘Price Book’ section located in the side menu, select ‘Inventory’, and ‘Settings’.
  2. You will be directed to the 'Inventory Control Configuration' page.
  3. Locate the column labeled 'Enable the Department for Inventory Control'. This section lists all departments currently set up in your XSite system.
  4. Scroll through the list to find the department that is experiencing tracking issues.
  5. Once you have identified the department in question, check its status in the 'Enabled' column. If the department is not tracking, it's likely that it is not enabled for inventory control.
  6. Select the 'On' option under the 'Enabled' column. This action will activate inventory control for the selected department, ensuring its transactions are accurately recorded and tracked.
  7. After enabling the department for inventory control, ensure to sync your changes.
