Steps

Review Case Breakdown in XSiteIO

   Go to Price Book, click Items, then click Items again.

   Find the parent item (for example, a carton of cigarettes).

   Click the parent item [PLU].

   Confirm Unit of Order is carton.

   Confirm Case Size is 1.

   Click [More details…].

   Open the Ordering tab.

   Check the Individual Item for Case Break Down field.

   Confirm a child item (for example, an individual pack) is selected.

    Return to the item list.

    Find the child item.

    Click the child item [PLU].

    Confirm Unit of Order is carton.

    Confirm Case Size matches the number of packs in the carton (for example, 8).

    Click [More details…].

    Confirm the Case Breakdown field is blank.

    Scroll to Quantity on Hand by Site.

    Review current pack inventory.

   Go to Price Book and click Items.

   Confirm Unit of Order is carton.

   Confirm Case Size is 1.

   Click [Detail Page].

   Open the Ordering tab.

   Review the Individual Item for Case Break Down field.

   Return to the item list.

    Find the child item (for example, a pack).

    Click the child item [PLU].

    Click [Detail Page].

    Confirm Unit of Order is carton.

    Confirm Case Size matches the pack count in the carton.

    Confirm the Case Breakdown field is blank.

    Open the Inventory tab.

    Review current pack inventory.

Tips & Warnings

• The Case Breakdown field should only be filled on the parent item. The child item's Case Breakdown field must remain blank.
• If the Individual Item for Case Break Down field is empty on the parent item, automatic conversion will not work.
• Child items should never have another breakdown linked. Linking a breakdown to a child item can cause inventory errors.
• If inventory does not update as expected, confirm both the parent and child items use the correct Unit of Order and Case Size.
