This article shows you how to view inactive items and change their status to active or removed in XSite so your item list stays accurate and manageable and only the correct items appear for daily use and sales at the POS.

Before you begin

Before you start, make sure:

• You are logged into XSite.
• You have access to Price Book and Items.

Steps

In XSiteIO

1. Hover over Price Book.
2. Hover over Items.
3. Click [Items].
4. In the top right, click the [slider] to switch from Active to Inactive items.
5. Review the list of inactive items.
6. In the Status column, click [Inactive] next to an item to change it to Active.
7. Switch back to the Active view using the [slider].
8. Click [Active] next to an item to mark it as Inactive.
9. Click [Sync] at the top after any change.
10. In the Inactive list, click [Remove] to delete an item.

In XSite Classic

1. Hover over Price Book.
2. Click [Items].
3. In the top right, click the [slider] to view inactive items.
4. Use the same steps as XSiteIO to activate, deactivate, or remove items.

Tips & Warnings

• Inactive items are hidden, not deleted.
• Sync after changes so the POS receives the update.
• Removing an item deletes its history. Use this only when you are sure.
• If you cannot see the slider or status buttons, your user permissions may be limited.
