This article shows you how to create and configure a Mix and Match promotion in XSite so you can automatically apply bundle discounts at checkout and ensure promotions run correctly at the POS.

Before you begin

• The Mix and Match module must be active on your Passport system.
• If the module is not active, this feature will not appear in XSite.

Steps

Create a Mix and Match in XSiteIO

1. Go to Price Book.
2. Hover over Promotions.
3. Click [Mix and Matches].
4. Click [+] in the top left corner.
5. Review the auto-created Mix and Match ID or enter your own.
6. Enter a clear Name for the deal.
7. Select the Start Date.
8. Select the End Date.
9. Enter the required Units for the deal.
10. Open the Type dropdown.
11. Select Total Price, Discount Amount, or Discount Percentage.
12. Enter the matching Amount.
13. Click [Add].
14. Click the ID number of the new deal.
15. Select the Site or Region where the deal applies.
16. Search and add items in Components / Item list.
17. Click [Update] after items appear.
18. Confirm the Status is set to Active.

Create a Mix and Match in XSite Classic

1. Go to Price Book.
2. Click [Mix and Matches].
3. Enter the Name of the promotion.
4. Select the Start Date.
5. Select the End Date.
6. Enter the required Units.
7. Choose the Type of discount.
8. Enter the Amount.
9. Click [Add].
10. Click the ID number of the deal.
11. Select the Site or Region at the top right.
12. Add items using Components / Item list.
13. Click [Update].
14. Confirm the Status is Active.

Tips & Warnings

• If the promotion does not trigger at the register, confirm the status is Active.
• Check that all qualifying items were added to the deal.
• Make sure the dates are correct and not expired.
• If the option is missing, the Mix and Match module may not be enabled on Passport.
• Changes may require time to sync before appearing at the POS.
