In today's fast-paced retail environment, maintaining accurate inventory counts is crucial for operational efficiency. XSite Mobile simplifies this process, allowing you to perform inventory counts directly from your mobile device. This guide will walk you through the process of completing a count using XSite Mobile, from setting up your hardware to saving and reviewing your counts. Completing an Inventory Count on XSite Mobile

1. Ensure your Bluetooth scanner is paired with your mobile device. Please adjust the scanner settings to match the barcode format used by your POS system for seamless integration.
2. Open the web browser on your mobile device and navigate to xsitemobile.com.
3. Enter your login credentials (username and password) identical to those you use for the XSite desktop version.
4. From the home screen, tap on the 'Count' button to begin the inventory counting process.
5. Tap on the orange ‘+’ button located at the top of the screen to create a new count session.
6. Choose the specific location of the count (e.g., Back Office, Storage, Floor, Floor (Alternative), or Other) to ensure accurate inventory tracking.
   Note: Scanning the same item multiple times in the same location will not increase the count. However, scanning the same item in different locations will accumulate in a grand total for that item.
7. Use your paired scanner to add items to the count, or manually input the UPC for each item if necessary.
8. For each item scanned or entered, type in the quantity counted.
9. Once you have completed your count, tap the 'Save' button to finalize and save your count batch.
10. After completing the count on XSite Mobile, log into the desktop version of XSite to review your count data. We strongly recommend reviewing your counts on a computer through our desktop site before posting. Remember, posting the batch count is irreversible and should only be done after thorough review.
