This guide will walk you through the process of posting and receiving a purchase order within the XSite platform, ensuring that your inventory levels are up-to-date and accurate.
Posting and Receiving a Purchase Order in XSiteIO
- Navigate to the ‘Price Book’ section found in the side menu and select ‘Inventory’.
- Click on the ‘Purchase Orders’ tab to proceed.
- Use the search functionality at the top of the page to find your purchase order. You can search by entering details such as the site, supplier, and the date the order was created.
- Once you have located the correct purchase order, select the ‘Receive’ button positioned on the right side of the listing.
- Carefully review the information displayed. If you notice any discrepancies or need to make updates, this is the moment to do so.
- Should there be items that were ordered but not received, adjust the quantities in the ‘Received’ field next to the respective item.
- After verifying and updating the information, find the orange ‘Post’ button located at the top of the page.
- Before proceeding, make any necessary notes regarding the order, and specify the date and time the order was received.
- Prior to finalizing, ensure to mark the checkbox indicating ‘Posting will irrevocably change the inventory levels’. This is a crucial step to acknowledge the changes that will be made to your inventory.
- Click the orange ‘Post’ button to complete the posting process.
