Create and print shelf labels for your store

This article shows you how to add items to the shelf tag list and generate shelf tag PDFs for printing in XSite so shelf prices are clear and accurate and staff can keep shelves organized.
Before you begin
Before you start, make sure:
- You are logged into XSite.
- You have access to Price Book and Items.
- A printer is available with shelf tag paper.
Steps
In XSiteIO — add items to the shelf tag list
- Find an item in XSite and open it.
- Click [Shelf Tag] in the top right to add the item.
- To add multiple items, open [Items] from the main menu.
- Click the [Filter] icon to select items.
- Click [Add to Shelf Tags] to add all filtered items.
In XSiteIO — open and print shelf tags
- Go to [Price Book] → [Items] → [Shelf Tags].
- Review the list of items added.
- Click the [Printer] icon on the Shelf Tag Report page.
- Select the label size.
- Download the PDF file.
- Open the PDF.
- Print using shelf tag paper.
- Cut tags if needed and place them on shelves.
In XSite Classic — add items to the shelf tag list
- Find and open an item in XSite.
- Click [Shelf Tag] to add the item.
- To add multiple items, open the [Items] page.
- Click the [Filter] icon to select items.
- Click [Add to Shelf Tags] to add all filtered items.
In XSite Classic — open and print shelf tags
- Go to [Price Book] → [Shelf Tags].
- Click [Print Shelf Tags].
- Select the label size.
- Download the PDF file.
- Open the PDF.
- Print using shelf tag label paper.
- Trim if needed and place tags on shelves.
Tips & Warnings
- Make sure the label size matches your printer paper.
- Review the shelf tag list before printing.
- Clear old tags to avoid printing duplicates.
- If tags do not print correctly, recheck label size and printer settings.
