Managing a large inventory requires efficient tools for batch updates. XSite's interface simplifies the process of modifying multiple items, making it quick and convenient to adjust prices, update descriptions, or alter other item details. This guide will walk you through the steps to efficiently modify multiple items in XSite, utilizing the system's filter and bulk edit features.
Modify Multiple Items in XSiteIO
- In the XSite sidebar menu, locate and select the 'Price Book' heading.
- Hover over ‘Items’ and click on the 'Items' tab to view your inventory list.
- At the top of the items page, find and click the ‘Filter’ icon.
- This feature allows you to sort and display items based on specific criteria.
- In the ‘Select a field’ dropdown, choose the attribute you want to use to sort your items, such as 'Department' or 'Supplier'.
- Proceed to the next dropdown menu and select the specific variable for sorting, like a particular department name or supplier.
- Click on the ‘Add Filter’ button.
- Continue adding filters to pinpoint the exact items you want to modify. You can set multiple filters based on price, status, or other item attributes.
Helpful tip: For future ease of access, save your filtered selection by clicking the ‘Add items to list’ button.
