Introduction
Adding a supplier in XSite is crucial for efficient inventory management and operational optimization in convenience stores and gas stations. It allows for streamlined tracking of purchases, ensures accurate stock levels, and facilitates the easy ordering of inventory. By maintaining a detailed record of suppliers, XSite users can negotiate better pricing, track supplier performance, and make informed purchasing decisions.
Adding a Supplier in XSite Classic
- Select ‘Administration’ from the Menu on the left side of the screen, then click on ‘Suppliers’.
- Upon accessing the Suppliers section, a unique Supplier ID will automatically be generated and displayed in the top left corner.
- Next to the Supplier ID, enter the supplier's name. Proceed to fill in additional details such as the Account Number, Primary Contact, Phone Number, etc.
- After entering all the required information, click the ‘Add’ button located to the right of the entry fields to save the new supplier information.
Adding a Supplier in XSiteIO
- From the left side Menu, select ‘Price Book’, then choose ‘Inventory’, and finally click on ‘Suppliers’.
- In the Suppliers section, click on the ‘+’ located in the top left-hand corner. This action will generate a unique Supplier ID, which will be displayed underneath.
- Next to the supplier ID, enter the supplier's name. Proceed to fill in additional details such as the Account Number, Primary Contact, Phone Number, etc.
- After entering all the required information, click the ‘Add’ button located to the right of the entry fields to save the new supplier information.
