Introduction

A meter rollover happens when a pump’s mechanical counter resets after hitting its limit, usually after one million dollars in fuel sales. This can throw off your shift totals. Follow the steps below to adjust for the rollover and keep your fuel reports accurate.

Fixing a Pump Rollover in XSiteIO

  1. Go to Fuel Manager from the side menu and select Daily Reconciliations.
  2. Use the date range tool to find the shift with the suspected rollover.
  3. Review each shift for a rollover warning in the top left corner. It will include the affected pump number.
  4. Scroll down to the Pumps section and locate the pump listed in the warning.
  5. Click Details for that pump.
  6. In the Meter Change row under the Dollars column, type in -1,000,000.
  7. Click the checkmark to save the change.
  8. Make sure to sync XSite with your POS to apply the fix.

Fixing a Pump Rollover in XSite Classic

  1. Go to Fuel/Shift from the side menu and select Daily Reconciliations.
  2. Use the date picker to find the shift with the suspected rollover.
  3. Check for a rollover notification in the top left, showing the affected pump number.
  4. Scroll to the Pumps section and find the listed pump.
  5. Click Details for that pump.
  6. In the Meter Change row under the Dollars column, enter -1,000,000.
  7. Click the checkmark to save the change.
  8. Sync XSite to ensure your POS is updated.
