Introduction

If a department isn’t showing up in your inventory tracking, it may not be enabled for inventory control. This guide shows you how to check your settings and make sure your departments are properly tracked in XSite.


Fixing Department Tracking in XSiteIO

  1. Go to ‘Price Book’ in the side menu, then click ‘Inventory’, and choose ‘Settings’.
  2. On the Inventory Control Configuration page, find the column labeled ‘Enable the Department for Inventory Control’.
  3. Scroll through the list and find the department that isn’t tracking correctly.
  4. In the ‘Enabled’ column, switch the setting to ‘On’ for that department.
  5. Sync your changes to apply the update.

Fixing Department Tracking in XSite Classic

  1. Go to ‘Inventory’ in the side menu and select ‘Settings’.
  2. On the Inventory Control Configuration page, find the column labeled ‘Enable the Department for Inventory Control’.
  3. Locate the department that’s not tracking properly.
  4. In the ‘Enabled’ column, turn the setting ‘On’.
  5. Sync your changes to apply the update.
