Maintaining accurate and updated store files is crucial for operations. The Bulloch system provides an efficient solution for backing up store files. This guide outlines the streamlined process for backing up your Bulloch store files, creating a foundation for secure and efficient store management.

Backing up Store Files

  1. Begin by navigating to the Bulloch Register #1. Ensure that you have a USB memory stick with sufficient storage capacity available for use.
  2. Insert the USB memory stick into an available USB port on Bulloch Register #1.
  3. On the register, access the main menu and select the ‘Utilities’ option.
  4. Within the utilities menu, locate and select ‘Backup Store Files’. This action initiates the process of backing up your store files onto the inserted USB memory stick.
  5. Upon completion of the backup process, the system generates a file named ‘BT9000PriceBook.xml’. This file contains all necessary store data and is now stored on your USB memory stick.
  6. This backed-up file can then be securely transferred to XSite, facilitating a seamless first-time data import, or ensuring a reliable recovery option in the event of data loss or system transition.
