Introduction

A pump or meter rollover occurs when the mechanical totalizers in fuel pumps exceed their maximum displayable values, typically resetting to zero. This can lead to inaccuracies in fuel sales data, adversely affecting inventory management and reporting. Recognizing and correcting a pump rollover promptly ensures data integrity and operational efficiency. This guide provides a structured approach to identify and rectify pump rollovers within the XSite system.

Fixing a Pump Rollover in XSiteIO

  1. Navigate to the 'Fuel Manager' from the side menu and select 'Daily Reconciliations'.
  2. Specify the date range to locate the shift with potential data inaccuracies.
  3. Review shifts to identify any discrepancies that suggest a rollover event.
  4. Upon selecting a suspicious shift, look for a notification in the top left corner indicating a meter rollover, including the affected pump number.
  5. Scroll to the 'Pumps' section and find the pump that experienced the rollover.
  6. Click on the 'Details' button in the identified pump.
  7. In the 'Meter Change' row within the 'Dollars' column, input a corrective value of '-1,000,000'. This adjustment compensates for the rollover, realigning the pump's totalizer with actual sales data.
  8. Confirm the adjustment by clicking on the checkmark to save changes.
  9. Ensure to sync XSite to update your POS.
