Introduction

To maintain accurate inventory levels within XSite, it is essential to periodically perform inventory counts. This guide provides a step-by-step process for exporting inventory counts, modifying them, and importing them back into XSite. Before commencing, ensure the ‘Inventory Control’ feature is activated to allow modifications to your Quantity on Hand (QoH).

Exporting and Modifying Counts in XSiteIO

  1. Enable ‘Inventory Control’.
    1. Access settings from the bottom left of the screen, select ‘General’, and activate ‘Inventory Control’.
    2. Click ‘Save’.
  2. Navigate to ‘Reports’ via the side menu, find the ‘Inventory Control’ tab, and select ‘Inventory Valuation’.
  3. Choose a specific department, subdepartment, or supplier for the export and select ‘Generate’.
  4. Click the ‘Export’ button to download a CSV file.
  5. If opened in WordPad, close and reopen with Excel for data entry.

  7. Finalize by saving the document as an Excel Workbook (.xlsx) via ‘Save As’.
